This takes away one step of the installation process that needs to be carried for both versions of the 1Click DVD Copy software. In this respect, DVD Cloner VI outperforms those two programs.
Support
This is the one area in which DVD Cloner VI is seriously lacking. Customer service support is unhelpful and slow to respond, at best. In many cases, it is almost nonexistent, with customers being unable to reach any customer service staff for help with their products.
Also, the technical support for this program is sorely lacking, as the built-in decryption program only receives updates once every year. The CSS decryption being used on DVDs currently being produced is constantly changing and improving, however. This means that the built-in decrypter will not work on the latest DVDs, forcing users to download third-party decryption software anyway. This is in comparison to the 1Click DVD Copy programs, where the integrated support for CSS decryption is updated every month.
Quality
The quality of the images on copied DVDs is excellent, and it remains excellent even when video compression is being used. In fact, it is often difficult to tell when compression has been used, as there is so little change in the quality of the picture. This is an important feature as video compression must be used in order for an entire DVD movie to be copied onto a single DVD-R disc. With DVD Cloner VI, you can rest assured that you can burn DVD movies onto a single disc without having to worry about the quality becoming too poor for you to enjoy watching the movie.
Summary
If you are looking for DVD copy software that is also able to support Blu-Ray media, then this is the program for you. You might also appreciate the fact that you need not download the third-party decryption software. The risk of a lawsuit being filed against the company, however, along with the lack of customer service, still sets DVD Cloner VI a step below the two versions of 1Click DVD Copy software. |
