"Excellent product! I downloaded today and immediately was able to make excellent copies. I have been using (attempting to use!) another product for 2 weeks without any real success. Picture quality is excellent, but more of a surprise is the quality of the audio! First class! Money well spent and I will certainly be recommending to others. I bought the product based on the reviews of various magazines: they were right!" - Ian B.
As you can see, the interface is very simple and easy to use. The default settings will copy your DVD in "Movie Only" mode which means that it does not copy the "extras" such as bonus features, titles, diectors cuts, etc. This makes extra room on the destination disk for the maximum quality. These settings can be modified in Options.
Options Screen
This is the main options screen and contains most any option you will ever want in copying your DVDs. You can select the audio you want to copy if more than one is available. The source and destination will be prefilled for you. These are you DVD Drives. If you only have one, then these will both be the same. The working folder is where the DVD is copied to before it is burned onto the new disk. The other options with the check boxes will have pop-up, detailed explanations when you hover over them. Basically they allow you to include or exclude certain features from your new disk to save valuable disk space if needed.
Additional Options
These additional options are basically self explanatory. More information is available in the help file contained in the program and accessible by clicking on the "?" located on the main screen.
Burn Screen
After the copying is complete, this dialog box will pop up. If you use the same device for writing and reading your DVDs, then it will prompt you to insert a blank DVD. If you use separate devices to read and write DVDs, then the copying process can be completed in only one step. Whichever applies to you, you will have the option to change the DVD volume name and writing speed before the burning commences. The programmers have built in a 20 second delay prior to burning beginning in case you want to make any last minute changes.
